Etruscan Grand Tour

A true journey into the heart of a Tuscany well worth experiencing and exploring. This is a long route (almost 200 km) to be covered in stages. If you are a cycle-tourist, we recommend planning 3 or 4 sections: the roads are wonderful and there are many places to stop. Suvereto is the starting point for “navigating” amidst the waves of land, woods and countryside that create a landscape with a strong identity. The circuit has its main points of historical interest in the towns of Massa Marittima and Volterra, which themselves are worth the trip. From a naturalistic point of view, the Colline Metallifere (Metalliferous Hills) and the Colline del Vapore (Hills of Steam) offer many unique scenarios, and the roads are particularly suitable for cyclists and cycle-tourists.
